Oh man! how am I ever going to catch up?!?!?! I think, I am just going to start over... AgAIn! I just don't have time to blog any more, but I HAVE been blogging, just not on this blog. I have a new blog,
Any way, I want to kinda catch up, just on thanks giving, and then I will post Christmas and hopefully I will be able to keep up with every thing coming up in the next month!

First Day of School - August 25, 2011

This year Rachel is a 8th grader, and Kyle is a 6th grader. Kaitlyn is in 5th grade, and has Mr. Spendlove. Hannah is in 3rd grade, and her teacher is Mrs. Williams. Trevor is in preschool, and Casen wishes he could go to school too.

Kyle Celebrated his 12th birthday on August 26th. It was the second day of school, ,but at least it was early out! He invited 2 friends and Garrick took them to the Flume to float. Kaitlyn and Trevor went with them. Kyle thought it was the funnest thing ever! /then they came home and shot potatoes out of the potato launcher he built with his dad. WE cooked Hamburgers on the Grill, but the flies were so bad we came inside to eat. Then Kyle and his friends used up the rest of the little fireworks that Jason brought us after the 4th of July.

Andersen Family Reunion (day 1) - July 18, 2011

Once again the Andersen family reunion was proved to be a highlight of our year. We were all so excited to get going, and kyle even woke up at 4:30 am (before my dad was even awake) to go get started on the milking. We got all ready and were on our way by 10. We took the Pisa van and had a fun time playing "I spy" and other games on the way. Casen was asleep for most of the ride. When we first got there Kyle and I quickly got changed into our swimming suits and went down the slide. Dad even got Hannah, Kaitlyn and Casen to go down with him. Trevor just watched, but he still had a fun time putting his feet in the water.

We played some fun minuet-to-win-it games. Trev and I did one where you pull tissues out of the box as fast as you can. Trevor was having fun and just taking his time; smiling the whole time. There was also one where you had to get the Oreo down your face into your mouth.

That night we also had a really good family home evening, roasted marshmallows, and even did a few fireworks. We were all tired and needed sleep, but we didn't get much thanks to Trevor bossing everyone around, many ATTEMPTS at the quiet game and some other things that will remain secret forever.

Trevors 5th Birthday! - July 5, 2011

Okay, I have decided that I am going to forget trying to get caught up on the past and move on to the future. I have just been so busy lately. Anyway, I still feel like i should post something about Trevor's birthday so here it is.

Since all the Hall's (and Joelle) had stayed at Grandma Hall's after the Fourth of July we did a little party for Trev at the park in lewiston. We had a good lunch of chicken and potatoes. Then we had fun playing on the toys at the park, until Hannah fell and got hurt. :(

Trevor got really spoiled. He got a squirt gun, a rope, a pitchfork, a Matter truck, tons of candy, and a skid loader.

Miss Kait's Birthday - May 19, 2011

WOW! I am so behind on blogging! So i am going to try to catch up a little bit today. We'll start off with Kait's birthday.
(May 17) She started off her birthday week by celebrating with the dairy ambassadors. They were giving out some ribbons at the junior dairy show @ Black and White days. Afterward they had cupcakes and sang Happy Birthday!

(May 19) On her actual birthday we went to A&W for dinner. Kait opened a present that started out as a huge box and then after multiple boxes and some newspaper ended up as a little note that told her her present was waiting at Grandma & Grandpa's house. So we headed down to their house and Kait found a new BIKE waiting!!!

(May 20) Kaitlyn got to do a dairy foods contest with the dairy ambassadors; so while we were waiting we went and walked around the Black & White days carnival. Here's some pictures of Kaitlyn playing on a big tractor they had on display. (if you look really close you can see her new earrings!)

We now have 2 new baby goats!!! We have 3 mama goats and 2 of them had babies on the same day! We all are very excited about them and Kyle thinks we should sell the cows and just have a goat farm.

Fun With Jenn and Brandon

On Sunday (April 3) Jenn and Brandon took me home with them to babysit Jennah on Tuesday. I had a BLAST!!! On Monday we went shopping; I got three new shirts and a Easter dress. Thanks Jenn!!!

On Tuesday I got to babysit Jennah!!! She was WAY good, and I would do it again anytime. :)

Confrence Weekend - April 2&3, 2011

Conference was good. The parts I heard. During the Saturday morning session I was babysitting Trevor and Casen while Mom and Kaitlyn went dress shopping for Dairy Ambassadors. I slept through the Saturday afternoon session. And on Sunday there were a lot of distractions (children making noise, iPad, etc.) :D. I'll have to re-listen to them on the Internet.

Dairy Farm Family

Our family just started a new blog called Dairy Farm Family. We are hoping that in the future we will update it almost daily.

On our way home from Florida, my dad asked all of us if we would help him with a new blog idea he had. So far we haven't helped him much more than just getting the blog set up. But we are going to start posting pictures, videos, and stories of things that happen at our dairy.

What We've Been up to

Wow! I am so behind, but I am hoping to get caught up in the next little while.
This year Kyle and I played on Basketball teams. My team won the championship game and Kyle's team did well too! After the season was over Kyle joined a competitive team that didn't do too great. Casen loved playing with Grandpa during the games:

On February 21 we went up to my grandma and grandpa Andersen's. while we were there we stopped in to see Great Grandma Roberts. She just moved to an assisted living place in Burley. Trevor and Casen had a fun time playing with all the toys:

Trevor is about the only one that i know who actually finds the good in all the snow we've had. He loves to dig out pathways through the lawn and pave our sidewalk:

Casen LOVES family scripture time. He'll grab his scriptures and sit down by one of his siblings, but he also enjoys eating his scriptures or taring out the pages!

On February 24 Hannah participated in the 2nd Grade Patriotic Program. She looked very cute with her hair all curled:

Florida Day 7 - Febuary 7, 2011

Monday was our last day at the parks. Our family went to Hollywood studios, John and Caroline went to the Harry Potter World thing, and Greg and Gwen went to Animal Kingdom. Hollywood studios doesn't have a lot of rides, but we went to a few shows and other things that were WAY fun.

While Mom took Hannah and Trevor to the playground me, my dad, Kyle and Kaitlyn went to go on Tower of Terror and Rock'n Roller Coaster. I personally didn't like Tower of Terror; it made me sick, but Dad and Kyle LOVED it.

Florida Days 5&6 - Febuary 5&6, 2011

WOW!!! OK, so it's been a month since we went to Florida and I still haven't finished blogging about it. Well, I'm going to try and finish up now.
On Saturday and Sunday we didn't go to any of the parks, because my mom and dad had meetings. Instead, we had a fun time hanging out with Heather. We went swimming in the morning, and then we went back and got ready for my dad's PAL graduation.
At the graduation they read a short thing about each person. They said how many kids each of them had; most people had two to three kids. So when they got to Dad they just kept naming and everyone was laughing.
We got a family picture taken afterward:

After the graduation we went swimming again; this time with my mom and dad.
There was a slide at the pool and Kyle went down it 50 times!!! Half of them where in about 20 minuets.

After swimming for our second time we hurried back to the room to shower and get ready for dinner with my dad's PAL class. We ate at the ESPN center, and there was a T. V. for every game that was on that night. It was fun to meet people from Dad's PAL class, and I'm sad we won't ever see them again (probably).

Sunday morning in the car Heather, Abbey, Gracie, Me and Kaitlyn had a little devotional. We were each assigned a topic and then we shared something about it. That was pretty much the only "church" thing we did.

We weren't planning on going swimming but after begging and begging we finally convinced Hez to let us go! We had a BLAST at the pool that day, since we had the whole pool to ourselve's, pretty much. Kyle went down the slide like 40 times (i think), and Abbey and I went with him most of the time. By the end that slide just made me sick.

Sunday night we went down to play on the nice little beach they had right outside our room.

Trevor's Space Mountain Experience

I forgot this in my last post but this story deserves a special post. The first time we went on space mountain Trevor was crying and the person at the gate told my mom that if he could settle down he could go but if he kept crying he couldn't so she took him down to the end to wait for us. When they got down there Trevor said to my mom, "That was my last chance to go on that ride!" My mom told him that ya it probably would. Trevor was really mad and the rest of the day he just wanted to go on Space Mountain. So when my dad came latter that day we took Trevor on it. He was really excited. Then just as we got almost to the front of the line Trevor had to go to the bathroom. I told him I would take him down to the bathroom, but then he wouldn't get to go on the ride. He was determined to go on the ride. He was brave and went on the ride. I can't say that he loved it because when we asked him how it was he said he didn't like it. But he went on the ride.

Florida Day 2 - Febuary 4, 2011

Ummm... I'm not really shore what this ride was called, but it's where you get to drive your own little car. You are on a little track so you don't crash, and Trevor LOVED it.

At Magic Kingdom There are three big roller coasters; Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain, and Splash Mountain. Space Mountain is so dark you can't even see anything. It made me sick but I still went on it 4 times. Thunder Mountain was AWESOME!!!! You can actually see! I think that's what made it WAY better than Space Mountain. And lastly, splash mountain, it's pretty boring for the first part, but at then end it drops you really fast!!!

My mom took Trevor, Hannah, Hilary, and Carter over to see the Swiss Family Robinson tree house, while the others went over to go on the roller coasters again.

Florida Day One - Febuary 3, 2011

Thursday was our first day at the parks. We went to EPCOT!!! When we first got there my mom still had to buy the tickets. Her credit card wouldn't let her spend that much money at one time and so we had to call the bank. Florida is two hours ahead and the bank in Lewiston wasn't open. Eventually we were able to get the tickets, but it was a long wait.

Above:This is the best ride EVER!!!! It feels like you are "Sorin" above California. A golf ball comes really close to your head, when you are above the orange fields you actually smell the oranges, and at the end big fireworks go off. It's the best!!!

We went and watched this WAY cool interactive movie type thing with Crush from Finding Nemo.

There was a little boat ride where you could learn about all the different plant, and animals and their environment. Dad and Trevor had already gone an the ride. We were going past some plants I had never seen or heard of and Trevor points to one of them and told me its name. I read the sign that said what it was and he was right!!!

Test Track is like you're actually going through all the tests cars have to got through. you test the brakes, the tires, and at the end it takes you outside and you go really fast around in a circle. Trevor really wanted to go, and after we got off, he said "That was a boringest ride ever!"

At Epcot you can go around and see a whole bunch of countries, it was really cool, but we didn't spend much time there.

Marry Poppins was supper nice. She had us all stand in a circle around her and tell her our favorite part of Epcot.

In Norway they had a little viking ride that was actually fun. At the end it dropped you down, not too fast, not to far, not even scary, and Hannah and Trevor were both terrified.

After the ride we tried on viking hats:

In Mexico there was another boat ride that was WAY boring and I almost fell asleep, but Hannah and Trevor didn't want to go on it because of the viking one. They did end up going on the Mexico one in the end and LOVED it.

Airplane - Febuary 2, 2011

After about a month of anticipation the day finally came to leave Cove (freezing cold)and go to FLORIDA!!! On our way to the airport we stopped and cashed in some of ours, my dads and my grandmas change we had been saving up. It ended up being $69 and some odd cents! Trevor was really impressed and said "Wow! we're going to get to go on some on really good rides!"

The plane ride and the wait at the airport was too bad because our cousins where there to entertain us.

We got in to Orlando at 9 Florida time and didn't get to sleep until about midnight and then we had to wake up at 6:30 to get ready for the day. We where tiered.

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning was GREAT! Dad went out to the barn early, and Kyle went out and helped him. Kaitlyn and I woke up at about 7:30 and the boys got in at about 15 minuets after that. We woke up Trevor and Hannah and then lined up at the top of the stairs waiting to go see what we got.

Santa spoiled us all this year giving us...A TRIP TO FLORIDA!!!

When we walked into the living room there was a Mickey head on the wall and a little paper for each of us. the paper had some information about the trip and it also said that Abbey, Gracie, Hillary, Carter, Lydia, and Wyatt were coming too!!!

Christmas Eve - December 24, 2010

For Christmas Eve we went down to Great Grandma Hall's house, like we always do. We did the nativity; Trevor was a shepherd, Kaitlyn was an angel, Kyle and I (Rachel) were narrators and Hannah didn't feel like doing it.

Then we opened presents and everyone was spoiled, again. Afterwards we went home and got strait to bed, so Santa would come.

Every year Lewiston State Bank gets tickets to the USU basketball games. We usually are the ones to use them. This time we got our neighbors were out of town and we decided to take the whole family. It was a fun night.

For Kyle's birthday dinner this year he wanted stake and potatoes with peach cobbler instead of cake.
Grandma and Grandpa Hall prepared a wonderful meal.
then afterwards Kyle had to go on a little scavenger hunt. He collected a lot of candy and then at the end he found a 6 man tent!!!

For a couple of weeks now Casen has been walking EVERY WHERE!!!

He has also learned how to go up and down stairs!!! For a few days that was good but then he got to cool for just crawling and whenever he tries to walk down the stairs he falls on his head.
If you look really close at these pictures you can see that he has THREE bruises on his head!!!

Ever since the fair Kyle has been begging to have a goat!!! He was looking at KSL classifieds and saw that there was one from COVE for sale! We found out that it was a guy in our ward and he made a pretty good trade.
The main part that Kyle was excited for was MILKING THE GOAT!!!!

For Hannah's birthday mom told her she could pick out something out at the fair it was a hard decision but she decided on this cute tutu!!! We had to get some pictures of her so on Friday night while the boys were at the fair, my mom and I took Hannah down to Grandma Hall's and got some pretty cute ones!!!

On Wednesday we took our animals in and set up. Thursday was our show day, and Friday we basically just sat around bored.

OK, so my heifer, Mazie, wasn't exactly behaving her self, she must of had a stomach ache or something. She kept tossing her head around, STEPPING ON MY TOES, and running too fast so I couldn't stop her!!! I got LAST in EVERYTHING!!!!! I hated it I just wanted to quit! The next day the big toe on my right foot, and my arm were WAY sore!!!!

Yellowstone Day One- July 16, 2010

Okay, here we go I left out a lot in my last post so here it goes. So on the way to Jackson we stopped in Afton,Wyoming for a bathroom break and Grandma and Hannah commented on how there was a belt someone had left in the girls bathroom but failed to notice that Grandma had left her purse in there. We got about 20 min. from Jackson until we realized that she had left her purse!!! So we turned around and headed back to Afton. As we pulled into the parking lot we noticed that there was a police car behind us and so while we all got out to stretch our legs, and get Grandmas purse, Grandpa got a speeding ticket!!!
Okay, back to Yellowstone, we got up and got ready and headed out. Funny story, I had done my hair and was asking Grandma or Kaitlyn how it looked and Grandpa says "It looks just like Ciley Myruses!" It took us all a minuet to realize he was really saying Miley Cyrus!!!

Jackson Hole- July 15, 2010

The four oldest kids got to go to Yellowstone with Grandma & Grandpa Hall!!! It was WAY fun!!!

A Post for Rachel From her Mom

OK I know I haven't been on this blog for several months now, and Rachel has done a great job with keeping it updated. I only wish I had turned it over to her earlier, but today I will make a special entry all about her!

Rachel will turn 12 years old on Friday July 23rd. She has been looking forward to this day for nearly a year. Oh to be twelve and get to be in Young Women with all her friends! While I have not exactly dreaded the day, I must say there are times I wish I could stop time from rushing by so quickly. During Sharing Time today Rachel was at the front of the room singing one of my favorite songs- "If the Savior Stood Beside Me." And tears came to my eyes-just because I love her so much. Then during Closing exercises I had all six of my children together in primary for one last time. I remember when Rachel went to Kindergarten, and it was the end of my time as a mother with all my children home with me. Then she went to White Pine, and it was another end of an era of having all the kids in Lewiston Elementary together. Now we end another era of having them all together in Primary. Now I know that this is somewhat minor compared to some steps like her learning to drive, and moving away from home, and getting married. It just seems that those next steps will be hear so quickly. And I often feel overwhelmed with all the things I need to teach my children before they grow up completely. But then I look at how much she has learned and the beautiful young women she is becoming and I feel at peace, and suddenly I am excited to see her grow and change and learn and become the amazing woman I know she will be.

SO- Here's a list of Twelve things about Rachel:

She is so supportive of everything I try to do-she prays for me and my success every night.

She is so smart- and has a great memory. When she was a Sunbeam she gave a talk about President Hinkley with no help! She can memorize the words and notes to any song with little effort.

She loves to take pictures-I am so glad that Rachel takes pictures, because I have been so busy lately, but we still have oodles of pictures of Casen's first year.
She is very good help-I probably am too hard on her, but she does do allot of work at the barn and in the house.
She loves order and schedules, which I am not very good at, but she is patient with me.

She is creative and a great writer. She has won most any essay or story contest she has ever entered.

She loves to read.

She is a blog stocker-she mainly looks at photography blogs, but she has a few other random families that she checks up on regularly.

She has a strong testimony and wants to do what is right.

She is a great friend, and thinks about other people's feelings.
She tells me everything! At least I think it must be everything-and I love to hear it!

She is beautiful- inside and out!

OK Well I need to hurry because Rachel wants to do some blogging today too. Here are a few pictures I took of her today. Plus a few of my favorites from her younger days!

Trevor turned 4 on the 5Th of July and he thought it was cool that there was a carnival and a parade just for his birthday!!!! The Sunday before his b-day he really wanted me to take some pictures of him out by all the old tractors. Here is some of what I got. This is my mom's favorite:

He really wanted one inside of the big green tractor but the door was locked so we settled for the tire.

I showed him how to hold up 4 fingers & he thought it was pretty cool.

We had to take off his shirt so that he could put on his "farmer" shirt & he posed for a quick picture.

My dad was going to the state convention and we got to go with him(the kids, mom had to stay and do chores). It was a lot of fun. We left after school on Friday, and got back Saturday evening. My dad had a meeting at five and so we kept our self's occupied by going up and down the escalator. Last week our cousins Emma and Aspen came to visit Grandma Hall. They are so cute! On Tuesday night I babysat them. We watched Dora, colored in coloring books, and played a game in witch I was the mama duck Emma was the sister duck and Aspen was the baby duck. I had a lot of fun! Thursday,Friday, and part of Saturday, my mom was in Boise. She was at the PTA convention sharing her idea about Vinyl Decal fundraisers. She took Trevor and Casen to Grandma Andersen's and Kyle went with, so that left the girls and dad to handle the dairy. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, except, on Friday night we went down to Grandma and Grandpa Hall's for dinner and when we came back we saw some lights out at the dairy. We went to check it out, and TA DA! Every milk cow was out!!!! Luckily we have the NICEST neighbores EVER, and they had a lot of it done when we got out. Finally, around ten, we had it done.
On Saturday when my mom came home she brought Joelle with. We had a lot of fun playing Basketball, football, and we even made a grass pile. We always fight over who gets to set by her at dinner, and in the car. Joelle, you are quite popular around here.

When Casen was a newborn Trevor would always say "I wish Casen would grow up so him could play with me." Now Case does play with him and I don't think he's getting what he expected. Case doesn't quite crawl yet but he can still get around, and he tears down Trevor's gate and chews on his animals and Trevor doesn't like it at all.

Rachel Goes to Writers Fest - March 18 2010

Hi, this is Rachel and on Thursday I got to go to Writers Fest. I wrote a story called "Permecavill"

and turned it into my English Teacher. She liked it and chose me to go to the Fest!

I had so much fun, some of my friends went too and my mom came for most of it. I went to three different stations. The first one was my reading round, at that station I read my story to a group of kids and listened to their story's too.

Next, I went and listened to the Author, Obert Sky, he rote the Leven Thumps series. He was a really good speaker and told us the four secrets of Foo, that's where his books take place, the secrets are HAVE COURAGE, THINK BIG, BE GREAT, and WATCH CAREFULLY.
Last I got to listen to a group of boys from Cache Valley. They are brothers and can all play different instruments. The youngest brother was eight and played the drums really good, Kort was 12, he and Bradon, who is 16, sang and played lots of instruments. They were really good and let us come on stage and dance.
I had a lot of fun, it was a great day!

Our little baby is now six months! He is growing up way too fast! He is so quick to smile, and when he does he makes every one's day.

The Elementary school always has a Valentines Tea. This year I got to go help during Hannah's class's time. These kids have the best music teacher, and she makes it fun even though they complain about dancing with boys.

Trevor doesn't always pick up his toys when he is supposed to, but when it comes to doing mom's jobs he loves to help. He vacuums, cleans the toilet, and peels potatoes.

Basketball for Family Home Evening

Grandpa had the idea to go play basketball at "his" stake center in Logan for FHE. Grandpa had a meeting, so we played for a while before he got there. Kaitlyn was feeling discouraged that she couldn't make a basket, so Garrick got a chair for her to stand on. She has great form and plenty of strength. All she needed was a little practice.
Hannah practiced dribbling and raced across the floor with Trevor and Hannah. Hannah and I practiced bounce passing.
We played half court scrimmage Boys (Garrick, Kyle, Trevor) against Girls (Mom, Rachel, Kaitlyn, and Hannah). Then when Grandpa came they played full court Grandpa, Rachel, Kaitlyn against Dad, Kyle, and Hannah.
So much fun-we'll have to do that again!

Trevor did get his toe scraped under the door when he went out to the hallway to get a drink, so he walked around with his toe up like this the rest of the night.
