Twin's Blessing

Last Sunday we went to Rob and Kelsie's 9:00am sacrament for the blessing of their baby girls. It was so nice and then we had a yummy breakfast at their house. I posted these pictures last week, but for some reason it did not work. So here it is again.

Kyle in the Accelerated Reader Parade

Kyle has been reading like crazy! He now has 94 AR points. MOst of the books he reads are worth half a point so he's read at least 180 books and taken tests on them. This was the first AR parade of the year. 1st graders have to get to 60 points to be in the parade; other grades need 100 points. There were about 35 kids from the whole school in this parade. They just run through the whole school and everyone cheers and gives them high five. Kyle's goal is to get 200 AR points by the end of school so he can ride in a glider with the principal!

Kyle loves BASKETBALL!

Kyle and Rachel are learning to play basketball. THey practice on Friday nights and their games are on Saturdays.


It has been fun to watch Kyle improve. HIs first practice he was feeling pretty down, because he could not make a basket, and he wasn't the best dribbler either. Well, since his first practice almost a month ago, he has gotten to where he can dribble two basketballs at the same time. He dribbles in our kitchen all the time. He also made a basket at his game last week. Basketball is becoming one of his favorite things to do!
