We love SPRING!!

The weather has been perfect! Last Sunday night we spent some time outside at Anthony and CeCille's house.

Trevor is a Terror!

He started preferring to crawl normally about two weeks ago. He is even faster now. I discovered that I can not empty or load the dishwasher if he is not asleep or in his highchair. If he is not contained he can unload the dishwasher faster than I can load it.

He also likes to get into cupboards-especially the videos at Grandma's and our house. He has now discovered the toilet paper and loves to unroll that. I always shut the door to the bathroom, but it still always seems to be open.

What SMILES!!

Kaitlyn always packs him around on her hip that she does not have.

Trevor is just learning new things every day. Last Saturday he was in the hallway downstairs when Garrick came home. Trevor climbed up those stairs before Garrick could even get his boots off. Today during Garrick's Sunday School Lesson Trevor would stand up to the table then let go and balance for about five seconds before he would fall and hit his head. Garrick told the kids once that Trevor's first steps will be a run. He might be right. So yes I would have to say that Trevor has become quite the terror, but he is so cute and thoroughly enjoys himself in the process. Hitting his head or pinching his fingers does not stop him for long.

The Hill at Ben and Robbie's House

We went to Ben and Robbie's house on Friday afternoon. We had so much fun playing games and playing with all their cool toys, especially the farm toys and the little basketball hoop. The highlight was the HILL! Their driveway is long and steep-perfect for coasting trikes and anything else with wheels down.

Trey was having the time of his life! He would push with his feet to get going even faster then he put his feet up until he ran off the side of the driveway and would eventually stop.

Kaitlyn loved it too, but I noticed her helping Trey and Hannah take their bikes back up the hill more often than she ever got a turn.

Kyle tried several different ways to get down the hill. In this particular case there is no way for him to slow himself down and no way to steer.

Hannah liked this vehicle best. Robbie or I could hold on if we were fast enough to keep it from tipping.

Happy Birthday Mom and Hillary

OK It's hard to believe with the number of pictures we took that this is the best I have, but look at Lydia and Grandma-they look perfect!

Hillary with her Little Mermaid cake and her cousins.

Caroline had a relay race and a treasure hunt for the kids. So Much fun!!

Steve and Sue and Grandma even came from Pocatello.

Our trip to "The Cradle of Liberty"

WE got back late Wednesday from our trip to Washington DC. We had a very worthwhile and fun time. Thank you to my parents and Garrick's parents for keeping our kids!! I don't have a lot of great pictures because on the first day after we had been to Mt Vernon, I dropped my camera! I was so sad, because I love my camera. Anyway, we were able to get it working again, but not till we got back home. We did buy a disposable camera and our friends said they would burn us a CD with all their pictures.

This is the Capital building. We got a tour of this building by one of Senator Hatch's Aids. We passed Barac Obahma on the stairs and Senator Joe Liberman coming off the Senate Metro. Unfortunately when we were in the Senate there was absolutely nothing going on.

"First in war, first in peace, and first in the hearts of his countrymen"

Mt. Vernon is George Washington's home. They have a new museum and learning center since the last time we were there. He was a very ingenious farmer and actually exported wheat to Portugal. The more I learn about the way he led his armies and the tactics he used and the credit he gave to the Lord for any success he had, the more he reminds me of Captain Moroni.

The Supreme Court. We did not get to hear a case, but we did get to sit in the courtroom, and hear a lecture.
