Pumpkin Carving

We carved pumpkins with Anthony, CeCille, and Emily on Monday night. As we started taking out the "pumpkin guts" as Grandpa likes to call it, each child had a little different reaction.
Rachel-"That's too gross!" She did end up helping a lttle.
Kyle-No Problem. He and Grandpa got his done.
Kaitlyn-"Good thing I already know how to do this, because we did this in school yesterday!"
Hannah- She had no interest in helping untill we got out the knife to cut
and she wanted to it all by herself.
Trevor-Just watched.

They each designed their own face, and they turned out great if I do say so myself.

Hannah named hers "Hannah". Yesterday when we were getting ready somewhere she told me that she first had to say hi to Hannah. When I looked at her whith a questioning eye, she got a huge smile on her face and said, "My pumpkin, Hannah!"

Abbey and Joelle

Abbey and Joelle were out with the chickens when the swingset picture was taken. I thought this was a cute picture of them. (Robbie took it of course while we had our cameras mixed up.) Posted by Picasa

Trey's new swingset!

Robbie took this picture of all the cousins outside playing on the swindset, when Caroline and I went to see baby Luke. In order from left to right. Trey, Rachel, Hilary, Kaitlyn, Kyle, Tyler, Gracie, Hannah. It is so fun to have cousins to play with! I did not get a good picture of Luke, because RObbie and I switched cameras on accident. He is such a cute baby with all this light brownish blonde hair! Posted by Picasa

Trevor and cousin Carter

This picture was taken at my mom's house a couple weeks ago. Carter is six months and is Trevor is three months. I think they are going to be buddies. Along with the Wyatt (1 year), Cameron (9 months), and Luke (born October 8th). I can't wait to get a picture of them all together at Christmas time! Posted by Picasa

Crazy Day

This week is red ribbon week at school. (DON'T DO DRUGS) EAch day they have dressed up or taken something to school. Today was Crazy Day. They were supposed to wear crazy hair, crazy clothes, crazy hats. Rachel and Kaitlyn both wanted to wear Kyle's clothes (because he is always crazy). They also wore one boot and one tennis shoe. There hair had four pony tails each, and they wore a hat. Kyle thought it would be pretty crazy to wear wranglers with a shirt that "doesn't go with wranglers" and he spiked his hair like a mohawk. They looked pretty cute and crazy! Posted by Picasa

Family Picture

Do you like this family picture? We got a few others, but I like this one the best, besides the guy walking by in the background.

We Love Weddings!!

Jenn and Brandon were married today in the Logan Temple. I really love to go back to that same room where Garrick and I were married almost ten years ago. The weather was absolutely perfect, and we had a great time. They had a nice dinner at the Coppermill Restraunt. The table decorations were gorgeous. They had the coolest wedding video with interviews and everthing. I will say that not every guy would go along with that kind of a thing. I know my guy wouldn't, but that's OK because I don't really like to see myself on TV anyway. Jenn and Brandon are very photogenic and it matched their personalities perfect.

Kyle's Favorite Place

Kyle took these pictures for his Reflections entry. It is his club house up in the hay loft. I climbed up there the day he took these pictures. It is a little scary climbing back down, but he does have a nice view from up there.

Rachel's New Style

Rachel got ther hair cut. She loves it, and I love it. The best thing is that I don't have to comb through the snarls and hear her scream and cry. She can do it herself!

Rachel's Favorite Place

Rachel wrote this for "Reflections" (just a contest that the PTA does)

Joelle’s House Is My Favorite Place
By Rachel Mae Hall

My favorite place is Joelle’s house. Joelle is my aunt, and she is only nine years old. She is fun to play with. There are many places at her house that Joelle and I like to play.

One of the places that we play in is Joelle’s room. Her bed is so big and soft. It is like a princess bed. We like to play house, and we are rich, and Joelle’s bed is our bed.

Another place that we like to play is the playroom. There is a closet with dress-up clothes hanging in it. We like to play dress-up. My brother always has to be the cowboy and so does Joelle. I like to be the movie star and so does my sister. It is cool!

Another place in her house is the Harry Potter Room. This room is under the stairs, and it is so small that I have to be on my knees when I’m in it. It is full of books, and when we turn off the lights it is so dark.

Joelle lives by a river. From her house you have a great view of the river. She has a boat, and we like to go boating and tubing. I like it when Grandpa drives, because he turns circles so we go over lots of waves. It is great!

Last but not least is the T.V. room. There are comfy couches and a huge T.V. We like to watch Hannah Montana on the big T.V. It is awesome!

There are so many places in Joelle’s house that are fun. But, my favorite thing is that Joelle is there to play with me.
