Thanks Giving Part 2

After chores we all went back down to Grandma's for dinner, then we did some puzzles and watched Home Alone. We had a fun time but we missed our mom.

Thanks Giving November 29, 2009

This post is by Rachel.
This year we had an unexpected thing happen, Mom got sick. She was fine until about 6:30 on Monday. By Wednesday she was supper sick, so dad took her to Instacare in Logan. The doctor didn't do much for her, he just gave her some masks so she wouldn't get us kids sick. We decided not to go to Grandma Andersen's and just stayed here for Thanks Giving. Even though we were sad about not seeing our cousins we had a fun time here.
Casen liked to be held by grandma.

By Friday we thought that mom was getting better until that afternoon. My dad called our family doctor but couldn't get a hold of him. Around 4:00 my grandma decided she would just take mom to the Emergency Room, but my grandpa milked cows for my dad so he took her instead. It turned out she had pneumonia. They kept her at the hospital Friday and Saturday night. She doing better now, I think, and will hopefully come home some time today.

Kyle was in the AR Parade!

Kyle got 100 AR points so he got to run in the 1st AR parade.
He just barley made it to 100 the same day as the parade so he has 103 points now.

The First Snow!

We were excited when it snowed, and Kaitlyn and Hannah decided to make a snowball.
Trevor helped too, but his hands got cooled. This is the is the big snowball.

Matching Pj's

Kyle and Trevor got matching pajamas from Grandma Hall. The girls also got Pj's, but we didn't get any pictures.

All three boy's ready for bed.

Casen's Blessing Day

We had such a nice day yesterday. Casen was such a good baby the entire day. He was given a beautiful priesthood blessing by his dad, and the family that was there to show their support filled up a big chunk of our small chapel. Two other babies were blessed, so the chapel and the gym were filled to capacity. CeCille was nice enough to have all of us come to her house for dinner. For the record there were 30 adults, 20 children, and 3 babies.
Here are a few pictures of Casen with his parents and grandparents.

Here are pictures of some of the people who were there. I know we missed some, but Jenn did a great job passing Casen around for pictures. I realized now that it is mainly the kids we are missing in the pictures. They were outside and in the bedrooms playing with their cousins.

This is a picture of Casen with his 2 cousins. Grant (born July 13th to Stephanie (Garrick's sister) and Gardner ) and Alisa (born August 23rd to Rob (Garrick's brother) and Kelsie)

Here is a picture of the men who stood in the circle to bless our baby Casen.
