Easter Egg Hunt March 22, 2008

We went to the Easter Egg Hunt in Lewiston on Saturday. Every one of my children were in a different age group. Luckily CeCille came to help, and Rachel and Kaitlyn are old enough to go on their own. Kyle decided he was too old for the hunt this year. Trevor got the most eggs. He was in the 0-2 yr old group and he didn't have any problem knowing exactly what to do. The only hard part was holding on to him until they said start.

Trevor thouroly enjoys life. He makes us laugh all the time. One of his favorite things to do is load things in his loader and dump it in his dump truck. He likes to get the videos out, so Kyle will help him load them up and stack them neatly back in the cupboard.

100 AR POints and the AR Parade March 5, 2008

Rachel and Kyle both made it to 100 AR Points. They get AR points for reading books and taking tests on those books. When they get to 100, they get a t-shirt and they get to run in an AR Parade where they run through the school, while everybody cheers and slaps hands.

Garrick bought Trevor new barn boots

Trevor has been in need of some bigger barn boots for a while. One day Garrick had to go to Walco to get some supplies, and decided he would take Trevor and Hannah with him (or was that my idea? I can't remember). Anyway, Walco did not have boots Trevor's size, but the lady working there told Garrick that she gets her kids boots at Wal-Mart. Well, Garrick decided to make a trip to Wal-Mart. I must say I was amazed. I personally hate going to Wal-Mart, Garrick hates to shop and Wal-mart is probably one of his least favorite places to go. The other amazing thing is that he had Hannah and Trevor with him. Well, he found the boots and several other odds and ends that he decided we needed while he was there. Then when he got up to the checkout stand, the computers were down and he had to wait an extra 15 minutes. I think I would have just left at that point, but Garrick was patient. Obviously Trevor was very happy with the boots, and I'm thinking I might send Garrick shopping more often!

Rachel and Kyle FInish another season of Basketball

I didn't get a picture of Kyle playing basketball this year, but here is a picture of Rachel with her friend Robin. They both did so good. Rachel hardly touched the ball until the last two games where she made 6 points. Kyle was the same way coming on strong at the end of the season. We hated to see the season end, because they were just getting the hang of things.
