Rachel's Birthday

For Rachel's 10 year old Birthday, I took the kids to the Logan Aquatic Center. Rachel brought her friend Robin along, and we had a great time. At first, Rachel said she didn't want to go down the slide, but I told her I wanted her to try it once before the lines got too long. Of course once she tried it, she wanted to go down several more times. Trevor loved going down the slide on my lap. Kyle absolutely loved the slide. He even when down the steep slide one time, because the line was so much shorter.

A walk to the temple. July 22, 2008

After dinner at Merlin Olsen Park we hiked up to the temple. it was a very enjoyable walk for me especially because Garrick pushed the stroller up the hill. The temple has been closed for cleaning so the curtains were even open and you could see through the windows on this side out the windows on the other side.

Brandon and Lindsay got Married 08-08-08 Mesa, Arizona Temple

My brother Brandon was married on Friday. Garrick, Rachel, Kyle, Kaitlyn, and I fly to Arizona for the wedding. I did not get any pictures at the airport or on the plane, but our kids loved that part of the trip. This was their first time flying! The only part Kyle didn't like was the waiting. Our plane took off at 9am on Friday morning so we left our house a little after 5am. It was an early morning, but we got into PHeonix at 9:30- the wedding luncheon was at 11:30. We rented a 15 passenger van. Katie and I both agreed that we had no desire to ever drive one of those. Garrick said, "I drove one of these on my mission and loved it!" Good thing he was the designated driver.
